SEO content brief generator
A brief your writer
can start from.
Enter a keyword and intent and get a structured brief template as markdown. It is built from your inputs and does not fetch or analyse competitor pages or search results.
A template, not research. The tool builds this brief from what you type. It does not fetch or analyse the reference URLs, competitor pages or search results.
Free, no account, nothing leaves your browser.
How to use it
- 1Fill in what you know
Add the target keyword and pick the search intent. Optionally add the audience, a few secondary keywords, a word count target, a tone and the URLs of 3 to 8 pages you want your writer to read first.
- 2Review the brief
You get title options, an outline skeleton for that intent, questions to answer, internal-link placeholders, an on-page checklist and E-E-A-T prompts, as markdown you can edit.
- 3Do the research, then hand it over
Open the reference URLs yourself and note what they cover and what they miss. Replace the placeholders, then copy the markdown or download it as a .md file.
Questions
Does this analyse the search results or my competitors?
No. It is a template built only from what you type. It does not fetch the URLs you paste, read competitor pages, look at the search results or use search data. The reference URLs are listed in the brief so a human can read them. Whether an outline matches what ranks is for you to check.
Is it AI-written?
No. Titles and outlines come from fixed rules for each intent type (informational, how-to, commercial, comparison), filled in with your keyword and audience. The same inputs always give the same brief.
How do I pick the intent?
Informational: the searcher wants to understand something. How-to: they want steps to do something. Commercial: they are comparing options before choosing or buying. Comparison: they are weighing specific named options, usually "A vs B". Look at the search results yourself to confirm; the tool cannot.
Are the length and title guides rules?
No. The 60-character title and about 150-character meta description are common rules of thumb, because search results cut text at different points. The word count is a planning target for your writer, not a ranking factor.
Why 3 to 8 reference URLs?
It is a workable range for a writer to actually read. The tool accepts fewer or more, lists the first 8 valid http(s) URLs and tells you about the rest or about invalid lines.
Can I use the brief for AI writing tools?
You can paste it into any writing workflow, human or AI. Review the result either way: a brief does not make an article accurate, and no brief guarantees rankings.
Is my input sent anywhere?
No. The brief is built in your browser and nothing is uploaded or stored.
