How to apply it

A checklist built only from the guidance in Google's page.

  1. Put Event markup on a page dedicated to one event, with its own URL.
  2. Add name, startDate and location (a Place with an address and name).
  3. Give start and end dates in ISO-8601 with a UTC offset, or the date only if the hour is unknown.
  4. When plans change, update eventStatus and keep startDate and location.
  5. Validate with the Rich Results Test, then check the page with the URL Inspection tool.
